DERAITUS, Jason "J. J." Jason “J. J.” Deraitus, age 25, of Birchwood, WI died Tues, November 11, 2008 at the Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, WI. He was born on August 10, 1983 in Cumberland, WI to Ronald and Sandra Deraitus. J. J. graduated from the Birchwood High School in 2001. He has worked for Birchwood Best Co. for the past 3 years. He loved to entertain people, jet skiing, snowmobiling and 4-wheeling. Most caring, loving and kind hearted man and excited to be a father in June. J. J. Deraitus is survived by his fiancé, Lisa Mattson of Bruce, WI; his father, Ronald Deraitus of Birchwood, WI; a brother, Michael Deraitus of Birchwood, WI; his maternal grandmother, Marge LaLiberty of Barron, WI; 7 uncles, Edward (Irmgard) Deraitus, Stanley (Barb) Deraitus, Richard (Denise Anderson) Deraitus, Raymond Deraitus, Randy (LuAnn) LaLiberty, David LaLiberty and Roger (Jeanne) LaLiberty; 3 aunts, Valentine (Nicholas) Skrabutenas, Delores Deraitus and Marcy Deraitus; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Deraitus in 1993; his paternal grandparents, William and Frances Deraitus; his maternal grandfather, Lloyd LaLiberty; and an uncle, William Jr.. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI, Fr. David Oberts officiating, with interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Birchwood, WI. Friends may call from 3 - 6 PM Saturday and 1 - 2 PM Sunday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI.
