HAFELE, Clarice M.
(September 28, 1913 - July 16, 2012)
Clarice M. Hafele, age 98, of Eau Claire, WI formerly longtime resident of Cameron, WI died Monday, July 16, 2012 at Dove Health Care in Eau Claire.

She was born on September 28, 1913 in Doyle Township in Barron County, WI to Edward and Cora (Gunnelson) Kringle. She graduated from the Rice Lake High School in 1931, attended Barron County Normal School and then taught school for several years. Clarice was married to George Hafele on August 10, 1946 in the Town of Doyle. They owned and operated Hafele’s Building Supply in Cameron. She later worked at Sanna Dairies in Cameron for many years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, the Barron County Museum, and was a quilter. She loved sewing, knitting and gardening.

Clarice Hafele is survived by a son and 2 daughters-in-law, Myron & Marilyn Hafele of Howards Grove, WI and Dorothy Hafele-Paulson (Gary) of Eau Claire, WI; 4 grandchildren, Troy, Todd, Brent and Craig; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hafele; 2 sons, Donald and Allen; a daughter, Diane; a set of twins; parents, Edward and Cora Kringle; a sister, Esther; and 2 brothers, Theron and twin brother, Carroll.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Faith Lutheran Church in Cameron, WI, Rev. Loren Barker officiating, with interment in Our Saviors Cemetery in Campia, WI. Visitation will be held from 9:30 - 11 AM Thursday at the Church.
