WICHMAN, Anna "Berniece" (August 14, 1926 - July 16, 2012) Anna “Berniece” Wichman, age 85, of Rice Lake, WI, died Monday, July 16, 2012 at the Heritage Manor in Rice Lake. She was born on August 14, 1926 in Wyoming to Andrew and Margaret Tanner. Berniece graduated from the Gillette, WY High School in 1944. She was married to Ramon “Ray” Wichman on December 22, 1948 in Cheyenne, WY. Berniece was a telephone operator and was a clerk at Schultz Bros in Rice Lake for many years. She loved to dance, feed and watch the birds and going ice fishing. Berniece Wichman is survived by 2 daughters, Cheryl Neuhart of Butte, MT and Barbara Wichman of Seal Rock, OR; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis & Patti Wichman of Hutchinson, MN and David & Bonnie Wichman of Rice Lake, WI; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Wichman; her parents, Andrew and Margaret Tanner and longtime companion, Eddie Kohler. Graveside Services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Nora Cemetery in Rice Lake, WI. Visitation will be held from 12 - 3 PM Wednesday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake.
