WIDIKER, Lillian R.
(October 9, 1927 - May 10, 2012)
Lillian R. Widiker, age 84, of Birchwood, WI, died Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake, WI.

She was born on October 9, 1927 to Wenceslaus “Jim” and Marie (Pups) Jilek. Lillian was married to Robert Widiker on February 3, 1947 in Birchwood, WI. She was a homemaker all of her life and loved her family, babies and church activities along with gardening, fishing, cooking, shopping, crocheting, rug looming and going to garage sales.

Lillian Widiker is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Rosy & Steve Schmitz of Medford, MN and Lori & Ernie Zesiger of Exeland, WI; 5 sons and daughters-in-law, Steve & Cathy Widiker, Gary & Bev Widiker, Gene & Wendy Widiker all of Birchwood, WI, Robert & Teassie Widiker of Hammond, WI and James & Sharon Widiker of Baldwin, WI; 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, twin sister Frances Smith of Rice Lake, WI, Alvina Rauman of Milwaukee, WI, Jeanette Socha of Birchwood, WI and Cecelia Halle of Pennsylvania; and 2 brothers, Louis Jilek and Anthony Jilek both of Birchwood, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Widiker; parents, Jim and Marie Jilek; a sister, Mary Janda and 5 brothers, Venceslaus, George, Joseph, Richard and Theodore Jilek.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11: 00 AM Monday, May 14, 2012 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Birchwood, WI, with Fr. David Oberts officiating, with burial in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Birchwood. Visitation will be held from 4 - 7 PM Sunday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake and for 1 hour prior to the service at the Church. There will be a Wake Service at 7 PM Sunday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals.
