Eunice I. Meyer, age 99, of Birchwood, WI, died Sunday, August 17, 2008 at the Rice Lake Convalescent Center.
She was born on February 1, 1909 in Duluth, MN to William and Florence (Beckman) Meikle. After graduation from High School she worked as a Medical Secretary in Illinois for many years. After retirement in the 1970’s she moved to Northern Wisconsin.
Eunice Meyer is survived by 2 grandchildren, Joann Schupp of Birchwood, WI and Marsha Lillard of Stone Lake, WI; 4 great-grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren; and a sister, Melba Steffen of Wilmett, IL. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Schupp; and a granddaughter, Linda Beikert; and a grandson, Gale Lillard.
Funeral Services will be held 2:30 PM Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Appleyard's Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI, with interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Birchwood, WI. Friends may call from 2:00 - 2:30 PM Thursday at Appleyard's Home for Funerals.
