KING, Inez Elen
(December 30, 1915 - July 3, 2010)
Inez Elen King, age 94, of Rice Lake, WI died Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the Windmill Ranch Nursing Home in Sierra Vista, AZ.

She was born on December 30, 1915 in Long Prairie, MN to Charles and Adell (Lake) DeBolt. Elen graduated from the Long Prairie High School and then attended St. Cloud State for 2 years. She was married to Louis M. King on October 4, 1940 in Minnesota. Elen taught school for a few years in a country school in the St. Cloud area. When they moved to Rice Lake she worked for Montgomery Wards in the Catalog Department. Elen was a member of the PEO, the Eastern Star, various bridge clubs in the area and the Rice Lake Senior Center.

Elen is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Karene & David Smith of Eau Claire, WI; a son and daughter-in-law, Lynn & Marianne King of Hereford, AZ; 5 step grandchildren, 10 step great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis M. King in 1999; her parents, Charles and Adell DeBolt; a sister, Vesta Sundet and a brother, Charles DeBolt.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the United Presbyterian Church in Rice Lake, Rev. David Butler officiating, with a luncheon following the service. The burial of the cremains will take place in the Nora Cemetery in Rice Lake, WI. Visitation will be held 10 - 11 AM Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the Church.
